“Italian Culture through the Flavours of its Cuisine”

PROGRAM

The practical course, with a teacher / chef and an interpreter, aims to create a friendly and relaxing atmosphere in which it is possible to learn culinary techniques that can be easily reproduced in your own kitchen. During the lessons, you can record procedures and take pictures in order to assemble an album of course.

At the end of the course you will receive a Certificate of Italian Cuisine and the Fidelity Card for access to online courses and services on the site www.bestitaly.club.

 

Arrival (Milano, Bologna, Modena, Reggio Emilia, Verona) with private shuttle to the 4 Stars Hotel.

Day 1: from 8.30 to 12.30, preparation of appetizers and first course dishes: pasta sfoglia (puff pastry), ragù (meat sauce), lasagna, tortellini, green ravioli. Tastings paired with local wines. Lunch at a local restaurant.

From 15.00 to 19.00, visit to world-renowned attractions at the Enzo Ferrari Museum. Shopping at the historic centre of Modena, visits to the breath-taking Unesco Sites of Modena (Duomo, Torre Ghirlandina, Piazza Grande). Dinner with a traditional menu.

 

Day 2: from 8.30 to 12.30, preparation of second course dishes – bollito di manzo e gallina (boiled beef and chicken), zampone (trotter), polpettone (meatloaf), sauces for the bollito – and desserts. Tastings paired with local wines. Lunch at a local restaurant.

From 15.00 to 19.00 afternoon shopping at Fidenza Village. Dinner with a traditional menu.

 

Day 3: beginning at 9.00, guided tour to discover traditional foods and wines, and natural attractions of the territory: caseificio (cheese factory),  salumificio (cured pork meat factories),  cantina/acetaia (wineries/vinegar factories). Tasting of local products and lunch in an agriturismo.

From 15.00 to 19.00, visit to the world-renowned attractions at the House-Museum of the Maestro Luciano Pavarotti or the Lamborghini Museum. Dinner with a chef of the Associazione Italiana Cuochi (Italian Association of Chefs).

 

Day 4: departure with private transport to the airport or train station for another destination.

 

N.B: The cost of the entire program for not more than 8 people, includes: private local transport, accommodation, cooking workshop/course, interpreter, tourist guide, tastings, lunches and dinners, and entry Enzo Ferrari Museum, the Lamborghini Museum or the House-Museum of Luciano Pavarotti. Extra drinks and expenses excluded.
